Playgroup

Our Playgroup course is designed to promote learning through play, focusing on sensory play, free play, music and movement, and messy play, which all help children develop a range of skills. Sensory play encourages language development and fine motor skills, free play promotes creativity, imagination, and problem-solving skills, music and movement develop gross motor skills, coordination, and rhythm, and messy play fosters creativity, experimentation, and problem-solving skills.

Available Programmes:

  • PLAYGROUP 8 months to 2 years old

Class Duration: 60 mins

This class will work to build the following skills:

  • Imaginative play

  • Gross motor skills, coordination, and rhythm
  • Problem-solving
  • Fine motor skills

Playgroup Plus

This curriculum teaches children at their own pace using Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP). With a small class ratio of 6 students per class and 2 hours daily, the program offers engaging, monthly-themed lessons that integrate academic content.

  • 3 to 4 years old

Class Duration: 120 mins

This class will work to build the following skills:

  • Language & Literacy: Reading & writing basics
  • Math: Counting, shapes & patterns
  • Science: Nature & weather exploration
  • Social Studies: Community & cultures
  • Arts & Crafts: Creative projects
  • Music & Movement: Motor skills & rhythm

Young Artists

Through playful and tactile experiments, our Young Artists (︎YA) program will introduce visual arts techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpting, and other mediums.

Available Programmes:

  • 4 to 6 years old

Class Duration: 60 mins

Students will acquire the following skills:

  • Fine motor skills through hands-on art projects
  • Creativity and imagination development
  • Visual-spatial awareness
  • Problem-solving through artistic experimentation
  • Self-expression and confidence in using different mediums
  • Focus and attention to detail

Storytelling & Art

The program is designed for children who have a passion for art and storytelling. In each class, they will have the opportunity to create their artwork inspired by the stories they hear. They will learn how to use different techniques and mediums to bring their ideas to life and develop their unique style.

Class Duration: 60 mins

Students will acquire the following skills:

  • Creativity to use imagination and craft unique artwork inspired by engaging stories
  • Story Interpretation by understanding the stories they hear
  • Self-expression through developing a personal artistic style

Young Scientist

We will stimulate children’s curiosity and potential in science by providing them with fun, entertaining, and educational activities. Children will gain a clear understanding of what science is really about and how it affects the world around them.

Students will acquire the following skills:

  • Curiosity and hands-on discovery in exploring the world
  • Problem-solving skills that help students think critically
  • Creativity in using imagination to form experimentations
  • Students are taught how to carefully observe their surrounding
  • Collaboration and teamwork

Stage Stars

Explore what you can do with your body and voice while storytelling, learn to assume different characters, and deliver spoken lines responding to the teacher. Children will explore a variety of different dramatic forms including mime, improvisation, and recreation of themed scenarios. There will be a different theme each month.

  • Confidence in expressing themselves on stage
  • Creativity through imaginative play and character development
  • Body awareness by using gestures in storytelling
